Well, now Azirphale has to pout. A book club with. Crowley sounded lovely. It would not only let them do something together, but it would also allow him to maybe see what literature the demon enjoyed - if any.

"Robert Frost," he explained. "I got a rare Frost. First edition. He does very lovely poetry."

It was the pout that almost, almost, had him taking back his words. He liked when Aziraphale was happy after all, or content at least. Even if it was just sitting and watching humans walk by while the other organized his books or the like.

Still, he let out a low whistle. Amused at the other. "That's special, I take it?" His tone was very obviously teasing. Encouraging.

Sputtering, Azirphale says, "Of course it's special. It's a first edition. A first printing of the works. And he paints a scene so elegantly." There's a faint look in his eye, a dreamy one if Crowley looks close enough. And the angel takes the moment to recite a few lines of one poem.

"Two roads diverged in a yellow wood,
And sorry I could not travel both
And be one traveler, long I stood
And looked down one as far as I could
To where it bent in the undergrowth."

His poem reciting earns a warm grin as Crowley leans back further in his seat. More then content to let Aziraphale talk about his books and how special they were all the time.

"S'alright I suppose." He teased further, tone gentle. Amused.

You have teased this angel for the last time...for the moment. Aziraphale narrows his eyes very briefly at Crowley before abruptly standing and making himself busy. The bookshelves suddenly need to be dusted and he must do it now.

He knew that look, he'd lived through several versions of that look. "Not going to read another one then?" He questioned. His tone lighter, softer. Encouraging even.

He even leaned forward slightly, gaze tracking the angel from his spot on his chair, but making no move to get up. He was comfortable, and if the other being had had enough of being teased he would be...slightly nicer about his wants if meant watching Aziraphales enjoyment.

He keeps his back to Crowley, picking up his old feather duster and only peeking back over his shoulder once at the other. "I don't think I will. Perhaps you should try reading this work on your own first before someone dictates it to you. You might appreciate it more that way."

Or Aziraphale was touchy on his poetry and his treasured books.

"What makes you think I dont appreciate it?" He countered, raising an eyebrow. He had been enjoying it a teeny bit. Mostly the sight of the angel being excited and happy, really. Not that Aziraphale needed to know that.

Still, he wasn't going to push, and instead simply settled further back in his seat. Watching him dust instead, his gaze occasionally flickering to the window when a human would pass by
