Susanna Yearling (In Time OC) - 4
She was going to live forever. Or at least long enough that it would seem like forever. She ran her fingers along the readout ticking away on her arm, thirteen digits. More than she'd ever had in her life, more than most people had in their lives. She pinched herself a moment later, a quick, sharp tweak to the inside of her elbow, it stung, and so she surmised that this wasn't a dream, not really.
It still surprised her, having that much time, even after five years. She shook her head, smoothing her hand down her arm again, sliding her sleeve back into place. Some nights she still woke up in a panic, feeling her time running out before remembering how much of it she actually had now.
