"Mm," Erik hummed. He'd take what he could get. The future of mutantkind was, essentially, more important than his own selfish desire for Charles' time. A comfortable silence fell, Charles eating and Erik sipping his coffee like some normal couple without an entire species relying on them.
"I think it's time I began working with the students," Erik said at length. "In an official capacity."
