oo6 → Rescues Meme

* Post with your character, fandom, and any preferences in the subject line
* Others pick or roll 1-10 for the rescue scenario using a random generator like RNG
* Reply, rinse, lather, repeat.
* Start rescuing people!

1. Accident - There's been a car wreck or a house collapsed. You never saw it coming and now you're needing some help in getting out.
2. Captured - Seems a bad guy is holding you hostage for their own purposes. Hopefully some help comes along soon.
3. Stuck - You really thought you could fit into that small space/area/situation but now you're stuck and can't get out. Perhaps a friend can find a way to unstick you?
4. Reverse - You aren't the one needing rescue, it's your friend. Better save them quick!
5. Timed - There's a countdown somewhere, possibly a bomb or something bad you know is going to happen. Hurry up and get rescued!!
6. Double Rescue - Both of you need rescued. Better work together in case nobody comes along.
7. Weather - It snuck up on you, the bad weather you're caught in. Could be a hurricane, snowstorm, flood, etc. Find high ground and hope to be rescued soon.
8. For Your Own Good - You don't want to be rescued but apparently you need to be. Whether it's something you're not aware of or you're a danger to yourself, your friend is going to do the right thing and get you out of it whether you like it or not.
9. Trap - You thought this was a rescue. Dun dun DUN!!! It's really a TRAP! Possibly instigated by your friend. Who can you trust to get you out??
10. Free Choice. Any of the above scenarios or create your own!

It had surprised Shaw, as well. only minimally, though. The thick accent is the first thing he hears from in the rubble. No one was supposed to be inside the building, after all. He took a few steps through the rubble at the sound of the voice. It was asking for help.

Where he stood, he could not see much of the figure beneath the ruble. Just spots of blue. Oh, it was certainly a mutant. Shaw could not have that. "It seems that I am."

	A voice! Someone was here...and Kurt is torn between being seen and being rescued. Another part of the structure creaks and settles nearby and that clinches it. "Over here! Bitte, be careful!" (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

He was fascinated and completely interested in what this other was. He had to live long enough to be of some use to Shaw. There were a few options for getting him out from underneath the rubble. Cause small explosions or lift them. Some of the pieces may be too big for him to lift on his own, those were the ones he opted to touching with his palm and causing a small explosion. Not large enough to kill someone, but enough to cause the pieces of rubble to shatter.

	Kurt tenses as he hears the explosions, thinking the place is starting to cave in on him again. Thinking he might not have time to wait to be rescued, he takes a chance and teleports, the spot where he was caving in around the hole. He reappears somewhere near Shaw and breathes a sigh of relief at being whole. "Dhat vhas close..." (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

"Ja, vhe should..." There was another creak and groan, something sounding like it's about to snap. Without waiting for an invitation, Kurt reaches to grab ahold of Shaw's arm and teleports both of them away just as the rest of the structure comes down where they used to be.

There's a dizzying sense of black nothing for a few seconds before they reappear about 20 feet away from the collapsed building. Kurt quickly lets go and apologizes, "Dhere vhas no time to ask."

Shaw didn't look surprised when they suddenly moved. Instead, he clapped the young man's shoulder. "I'm accustomed to it," he said. "Your skill is similar to someone I know." He was more surprised that he encountered someone with the same skill as Azazel, as it seemed uncommon.

Not that he thought he truly needed the help. He certainly could have kept himself safe. "Are there other skills I should hear of?"

	Yes, but Kurt didn't know that and thought it better to try and save him from being squished. He looks surprised when Shaw tells him he's not the only one. "It is??" "I haf a gut sense of balance. I am an acrobat in dhe circus but I do nicht know of dhat counts." Why was this man not leery about his appearance? Most people were. (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

	"Quite like that," haw nodded, stopping in his step. He was able to tell he was making the young man uncomfortable. "We have a rule among ourselves that we do not hurt our kind." Shaw, of course, had his own skills. But he didn't show off, he never would. (Reply to this) (Parent)
