Whatever happened took Erik by surprise. Needless to say, waking to find himself restrained didn't bode well with him. It was almost instinct more than rational thought that prompted the first round of struggling. Captive was something Erik fervently never wished to be again. He craned his neck to ensure it was, in fact, Charles to whom he was tethered, mildly relieved to catch a glimpse of the familiar man in his peripheral.
"Charles! Are you all right? What... How did this happen?"
