	Horatio blinked at the window, the sun shining brightly through the gap in the curtains. It had to be at least six bells in the afternoon watch. He smiled slowly. As much as it made him restless at times, he loved leave. Now that he had something to come home to. He propped himself up on his elbow. "Hello, love," he murmured, smiling down at her. 	Mary had been dozing more than sleeping, and she smiled as she felt the mattress shift. She rolled over to face him, sliding closer to him to wrap herself around him. "Hello, darling," she murmured, pressing a kiss to his chest. She loved having him here so much. (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

She gave a soft sigh as his fingers moved through her hair. "I'm glad," she said, smiling up at him. "You'll be hearing it a lot."

"Yes, very well," she said. It was wonderful, falling asleep beside him. And waking up. She could get used to having him here - but of course she shouldn't.

He was here now, though. That was all that mattered. She shifted even closer to him, lifting her head to kiss him softly.

	He held her closer, and yet it still wasn't close enough. She pressed against him, holding him as tight as she could. This was so wonderful. They didn't have to hide or sneak around or - for the time being, at least - worry about needing to be somewhere else. She kissed him again, hungrier this time. (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

	It was the most wonderful feeling. All of it - from the way his hands gripped her hips to the way his skin slid against hers with every thrust. She wrapped her arms around him, pushing aside the momentary panic at the feel of his weight on her. She hardly felt it at all now, and each time she was with him she banished the ghost of her former lover even more. It was one of the many things Horatio had done for her.

She ran a hand through his curls gently. "Oh, darling," she murmured, smiling against his shoulder.
