Trigger warning for sleep/party related things!

┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈ the scenarios

① BREAKFAST IN BED: Your partner's up and about -- maybe dressed, maybe not -- and in the kitchen. What are they making you? Could it be...grilled cheese?

② HIT ME BABY: They're such a peaceful sleeper. A peaceful, sexy sleeper. Actually there's too much of that sleeping happening. Why don't you wake them up, world's kindest alarm?

③ ESCAPE FROM AZKABED: You wake up to find they're rummaging about for their clothes, about to leave. Why the rush, and can you convince them to stay?

④ THE AFTERNOON AFTER: And the evening, maybe even the morning after after. Hours have passed but you just can't leave each other! Or maybe one of you just won't...

⑤ HANGOVER FROM HELL: There's a tiger in the closet, a baby in the bathroom, pink flamingos in the yard, and a complete stranger curled up beside you. Who is this person beside you smelling of tequila and regret? Do they know any more about what, or who, went down than you do?

⑥ WET AND WILD: Don't feel too lonely waking up by yourself--the shower's on and the sound of water falling is mighty inviting. Why don't you get cleaned up--or down and dirty all over again?

⑦ I'LL SLEEP WHEN I DIE: Sleep? What is this sleep thing you speak of? Dawn's breaking and neither of you have gotten a wink, or want one. Who's ready for round asjldkjl?

⑧ A BITTER PILL: Turns out the reason you scored wasn't your sparkling wit and magnetic confidence. Your partner had an ulterior motive--they already knew it, and you're about to. Recon? Revenge? Rebound? Tag and find out, if you can handle the truth!

⑨ THIS ISN'T MINE: That sleepy person in your living room had a great night--with your roommate. Well, might as well get to know each other while you're both there, right? Right?

⑩ WILD CARD: ROLL MORE THAN ONCE AND COMBINE SCENARIOS, CHOOSE YOUR FAVOURITE, OR MAKE UP YOUR OWN!

Mary smiled, lifting her cup in response. "My day isn't so terrible so far," she admitted, and then bit her lip.

She glanced into her cup as she answered, hoping her voice sounded calm. "Yes, I believe we did." She - well, she knew she shouldn't have done it, but she also shouldn't have run away from Cliveden with him, and - well, it had gone better than last time, certainly. He was still alive, for one thing.

Oh. He blushed hotly, hiding his face behind his teacup. "I, er, I..." Oh, he did not want to hurt her feelings, even if nothing like this should have happened. He peered around his cup. "You're... a very beautiful woman," he said softly.

Mary smiled. "Thank you, Doctor. And you are a very handsome man," she replied.

She took a sip of tea, trying to push aside her embarrassment. "Obviously we got... carried away," she said, carefully. "But there was no real harm done. We don't have to - to let this make things awkward between us, do we?"

"I... I suppose not," he said, offering a wry smile. "It's just been so long. I don't exactly remember how to handle the situation." He took a sip of his tea. "I really am not in the habit of, of absconding with beautiful young women from parties. Well," he added with a tiny chuckle, "not to, to take advantage of them. I often travel with friends, however." He turned a questioning look at her. "I don't suppose you would want to explore the universe for a time? It's the least I could do, considering."

Mary gave a small laugh. "I don't think you took advantage of me, Doctor," she told him. "But yes - I would love to explore the universe." It sounded insane, but how could anyone refuse an offer like that?

"No," he said with a warm smile, winking to show he was teasing, "it's far more likely that you took advantage of my unaccustomed inebriated state." He reached across the table and squeezed her hand, blushing slightly. "I would be honoured to have you accompany me--as a friend, of course. I expect no more than that."

Mary laughed, glancing down at her cup. She - well, it was probably likely she had initiated things. She had added to her previous sins, but - oh, what did it matter, in the grand scheme of things? It wasn't like she was at home where people would judge her for what she had done.

She felt a sudden rush of - of freedom. She wasn't at home anymore. She could go where she wanted, do what she wanted to do and no one could stop her. No more paying calls and supporting charities and standing behind the guns. The life that she'd told Matthew made her angry was miles - and years - away. She brushed aside the pain at the thought of Matthew - she had well and truly burnt that bridge. What was there left for her at home but a life of boredom and duty? The Doctor was offering her so much more.

She smiled widely. "I - thank you," she said. It was entirely inadequate, but she wasn't sure what else she could say. Her eyes gleamed as she looked at him across the table. "Where - where will we go first?"

He made a grand gesture. "Anywhere," he said boldly. Then he quirked a smile. "Anywhere that doesn't serve Electrostatic Wormholes," he amended. He really should have known better than to touch them. He had no call to be acting like a boy of barely a century.

He bounded out of the chair and went to the view panel, opening the controls and keying in figures. The protective shutters slid back, revealing the garishly painted metal of the space station's hull, and beyond it, the grand panoply of space. "Pick a star," he said, a pleased grin sitting comfortably on his features.

Mary grinned at that comment, then watched with wide eyes as he bounded across the room. She turned in the chair, gripping the back as she watched him move. His enthusiasm was so infectious, making her even more excited than she had been before.

He did something to the wall, and it - oh, it opened up. She gasped softly, getting to her feet as she stared in wonder out the window. "Oh, my," she breathed, staring out into - into space. She could hardly believe any of this was real.

He took one of her hands in his, squeezing it excitedly as he pointed out the window. "Over there, by that star, there's a planet with spires of crystal that form natural prisms, refracting the light from the sun into dazzling rainbows across the entire surface of the world. And there," he went on, pointing in another direction, "you can get a fairly decent fish and chips, and over there," pointing again, "is the biggest water slide in the universe!"

She gripped his hand tightly as she looked out the window, wide-eyed.

"Goodness," she said. "That all sounds - so wonderful. Even the fish and chips." She laughed lightly. "I've never had fish and chips, actually. And - well, I'm not sure what a water slide is, but it all sounds so wonderful."

His eyes were wide. "Never had fish and chips?" he asked incredulously. "My dear young lady, we shall have to rectify that." Obviously her life had been far too controlled. He would show her the universe, introduce her to so many new experiences. He took her hand and patted it gently. "Simple steps," he murmured. "Fish and chips before water slides."

Mary shook her head. "No, never." Now that she said it, it sounded ludicrous. There was so much she had never done, so much she could do now.

She gave his hand a squeeze, smiling widely. "Very well," she said. "Fish and chips sounds as good a place as any to start."

He wrapped an arm around her and kissed her soundly on the cheek. "Get dressed," he said, grinning. "I have to try to remember where I parked." He found his jacket and dug in the pockets for several moments. No, he seemed to have left the TARDIS locator on the TARDIS again. He would have to do something about that. He started pulling on his clothes.

Mary laughed excitedly, moving around to gather up her clothes.

The excitement of it all was almost enough to outweigh the awkwardness of dressing in front of a man - but then, even if he didn't remember it was nothing he hadn't seen before. She struggled a little with her corset, not used to tying it herself. Luckily it had only been loosened slightly before she slipped it off, so she could lace it reasonably tightly. The buttons on her dress proved more problematic.

"Doctor, could you help me with these buttons?" she asked, her cheeks flushing slightly as she glanced over at him.

He looked up, his cheeks heating slightly. "Oh. Yes. Of course." He slipped his waistcoat on over his shirt, leaving it unbuttoned as he crossed the room to go to her aid. He did up her dress carefully, keeping his eyes averted.

Mary was slightly embarrassed, but she did her best to remain collected. It was no different than Anna helping her with her buttons, she told herself.

"Thank you," she said when he had finished, turning around to smile at him, her cheeks flushed.

She slipped on her shoes and moved to the mirror, fidgeting with her hair until she managed to make it look slightly presentable. Anna was much better at this.
