Hands on the back of his head, Ward relaxed slightly when he saw Skye, turning his attention to the security guard closest to him, "See. Look. She'll explain," He said, wincing slightly as the security guard grabbed his arm and roughly pushed him back against the van.
"If you're asking me," He said gruffly, "she doesn't have any idea what's going on here. So we're going with what we were told," He said before turning to Skye as he pulled Ward forward and turned him around to handcuff him. "He left the premises, ma'am. We were informed that if he made any move to leave, he was supposed to be detained until the circumstances could be evaluated."
"She knows the circumstances," Ward protested, even as the cuffs were snapped around his wrists. As it was, really, that wasn't much of an obstacle for him. He'd gotten loose from worse, but he was playing it safe and cooperative right now because he had a feeling that he wouldn't have to fight his way out of this. "I was just running an errand. I know I should have told someone else before I left, but it was time sensitive."
The security guard scowled, frowning as he looked between the two of them before turning his focus on Skye, "Is that true? Or do you want me to run him upstairs and tell the boss he's been lying, too."
