Modpost time!
With fandom tensions running high after last night's episode, now's probably a good time to address keeping character bleed to a minimum. There's a fine line between characters fighting and that carrying over into OOC interactions, so consider this a reminder.
Assuming the events of 'Mash Off' play out in game, everyone please keep in mind that character actions are NOT necessarily the actions of their players. I've seen some anger toward Finn already cropping up, for example, and I really don't want that to get out of hand and spill over onto Jon. There's a lot of bickering going on in the fandom at large right now, people siding with Finn or Santana and vilifying the other party, but I DO NOT want to see that happening here. Both characters were in the wrong to an extent, and if their players choose to keep that plot line, it needs to be done respectfully and professionally. All of us identify with our characters, to an extent, but we need to be able to step back and play with each other at the end of the day so we can all have fun. If that means stepping back from the characters for a bit, that's completely understandable.
I don't want anyone to be worried about getting hate for something their character does on screen or in game, so please everyone -- play nice or take a step back until you can.
