Characters: Tracey Davis & Angelina Johnson
Setting: Monday after work gets out
Rating: GP
Summary: Well, Tracey's heard that rumor about Angelina and has to know if it's true or not.
Usually after a long day at work, Tracey went right home to start dinner and have herself a glass of wine to just unwind from the day of it. The only problem with that plan was she didn't have any food at her place. The best solution might have been to go shopping, but she hadn't made a list and she never liked to go shopping without a list. So, she decided to try the little cafe in the Alley that Ken had been raving about. She doubted it would be that good, but at least it couldn't be horrible. Or at least she strongly hoped that was the case. The Ministry was always an interesting place on Mondays with everyone so eager to share what they were up to this weekend. The lives some of them lead were curious, hardly anything of importance, but as time went she was getting the full picture of exactly what sort of people they were. After placing an order to take away, she went over to the pick up area and turned around to watch the people in the cafe. As she scanned the room there didn't seem to be anyone of great interest until she spotted Angelina Johnson, the Angelina Johnson that had the bint Diane Fang going on about far too much, with a rather attractive woman deep in conversation. Maybe she was projecting it or it was because of what Fang was on about - the latest being that Angelina Johnson not only had a Weasley, but a whole harem of women in her bed. She watched them for a moment trying to decide if they were just two friends or it was something more. She was careful not to stare or to be caught looking - it was a sort of thing she had long since perfected. Tracey had no reason to approach the other woman, let alone an opening as she was currently with someone. But there was every possibility the opportunity would present itself. Trying to figure out what Angelina Johnson was would at least be a great deal more interesting than the useless facts about her unimportant coworkers. |
