Characters: Wesley Harper & Henry Cresswell
Setting: Transfiguration Corridor. Nov 8th, 4pm
Summary: Wesley kidnaps Henry and demands his milk money! homework.
Not having Laura around meant that Wesley suddenly had more free time on his hands. Potions was his only class on Monday. Since he didn’t have Laura to chase around from class to class, carrying her books, he’d spent more time in the common room than usual. There were always Quidditch plays to work on, so he’d ended up shuffling through Marcus’ playbook again, carefully refreshing the preservation charms he’d ended up putting on it after all. The book was practically memorized by now but he couldn’t help going through the pages now and again, especially since he didn’t have anything else to occupy his time with.
When 345 rolled around, he put it away in his dorm before ducking out of Slytherin, intent on catching the 5th year Hufflepuffs leaving their last class of the day. He knew their Transfigurations ended at 4 and he had every intention of being there to greet them. Since Kevin wasn’t really talking to him still, and he was certainly going to avoid Rae, Wesley had already decided his best bet was to corner Henry Cresswell or maybe Emma Dobbs. They seemed, at least, more neutral than the other choices. His goal was to get a copy of all the assignments for the day, since he’d decided the best way he could help Laura right now was to make sure she stayed on top of her school work.
Once he’d arrived in the corridor outside of the classroom, he leaned against a wall further down from the room; partly so he wouldn’t get caught up in the tangle of exiting students, and partly so he could avoid Kevin and Rae when they came out. He considered himself quite lucky to notice Henry was the first one out the door and the other two didn’t appear to be that close behind him. Once Henry had walked his way, he reached out to grab him by the wrist, pulling him around the corner quickly before releasing him. “I need your homework,” he said announced without any apology or even idle chatter.
