"I like babies too," Rhiannon echoed. Children though were definitely not on her radar at the moment. First of all, she had no longterm partner and second of all, the bombshell that'd landed the night before had blown any and all thoughts of the future right out of her mind. The present was a murky and sticky enough mess as is without tossing the uncertainty of the future into it as well. While Petr launched into the abridged story about her father and his lost loves, and his son - her brother (okay, half-brother but she'd always thought that was dumb) - she leaned forward to prop her elbows up on the table and rested her chin on her palms. Even though edited, there was a lot of information to digest. For some strange reason, she was more mind-boggled over the fact she had a sibling than anything else. And he seemed to be a wee bit like her.She actually smiled when Petr's sense of humor reared its head. She enjoyed irony. "Opposites attract," she interjected. "I suppose that's one of the perks of being long-lived - you can take your time to plan a family. And yes, I did see her - she's a striking woman." Freyr seemed to like 'em tall; her mother had been around five-foot-ten or so she'd heard from her great aunt. Skadi was much taller though.Temper? Check. She had one too when roused."See," she said leaning back again, "that's something I can't understand: Abandoning your own children. I might understand it more if it had something to do with safety but come on, it just seems irresponsible and callous to me." Not that she was biased or anything.

Yes, yes, Rhiannon was well aware of the so-called 'traditions' of the obscenely wealthy on Earth. They popped out kids and ignored them. Of course, there were always exceptions but neglect seemed to be the norm. It was disgusting. She scowled. "I get it, it's 'normal' but it shouldn't be," the redhead opined brusquely. She then gave Petr a quizzical look as if to say 'are you high?'. "No, you should be critical of our leadership. They aren't always going to be right. They aren't infallible."Question authority, always. Yup, she was most definitely an Aquarian.Wildheart rolled her eyes at the words 'proper line'. "I'm sure we'll meet, eventually," she said. "I just hope he doesn't view me as a threat." She had no sinister plans in the works to overthrow her father or to 'get rid of the competition' to become Freyr's sole heir. If anything, she wanted to merely seek out a connection.
The gesture, although unexpected, was sincerely appreciated. Kindness and empathy were sorely undervalued traits."I believe in their capabilities too but they're going to slip up eventually. It's inevitable." People, gods or not, messed up and that was okay but it was up to others to make sure they learned and grew from those mistakes and not double-down. She was sure Zap would agree with her on this. She certainly believed honesty was the best policy.Rhiannon smiled a crooked smile. She hoped he was right and that her brother would see that she didn't mean any harm. "It'd be nice to have another family member that I could actually get along with," she admitted. It'd be nice to get along with her birth father as well but one step at a time.
