The doctor known as Laurie Peterson walked into the labs with her notes. Heels clicking on the stainless steel floors, her glasses just slipping down her nose. She was always dressed professionally, wit her dark hair pulled back and pinned to the nape of her neck. She was rather new to this facility but she knew she had been a part of the Weapon X project for years. It was spotty at best, her memory of it, except for a few very vibrant memories of pain, blood, and escape when the original Weapon X escaped. Those memories often gave her nightmares, though she'd never admit it. They drove her to make sure things were done differently now.
Setting the clipboard down with an audible slap to the counter, she logged into the system and brought up records of their current mutants in the facility. It was not the prisoners she was interested in at this time, just the team that Stryker had been using and training. She wanted to make sure all passed physicals, again, before any further work could be done on the genetics work of X-24 through X-50. This entailed not only checking on X-23, their only viable creation so far, but those that had also survived genetic alterations such as the one they called, 'Deadpool'.
Once she was sure she was well versed in their files she checked her supplies for blood work and basic physicals. There was a buzz from a guard and she hit the button immediately. Too long a delay often had them rushing in worried something had gone wrong. Security was a very big issue here these days. "Yes, I'm just finishing now, you will be able to allow them in within ten minutes, thank you."
