Arranging transport to the location hadn't been much of a problem. Everyone knew where the mansion was. Why the girl, who'd they'd most likely written off as an emo goth reject, wanted to go there wasn't their concern. She had called the taxi after confirming that her sister would be well looked after in her absence.
While the danger room and session with or without Logan were fine, she wanted to try her hand against someone who was not a sentient projection. Her mother had always encouraged her to make new friends. Avengers appeared to be a positive influence to society if one overlooked certain shortcomings in their individual personalities. Their flaws were glaring, but together, they made a good impact on society. Maybe. She didn't want to think too hard on it...even as her mind tumbled out the pros and cons of their existence.
The bottom line is they created heroes. Those heroes created hope and happiness. Namor was one of these "heroes" even as he continuously insulted those who lived above sea level. He also appeared to be incredibly hostile, so she wanted to meet, combat, and study him. He embraced violence, unlike the school which taught her that it was more of a last resort. Raised to be violent in nature, she wanted to give it a try.
She dressed comfortably. Her leather jacket was zipped to her neck, but beneath it was a simple black tank. She had black leather gloves and wore low-riding black leather pants that disappeared into some boots. The cold air kissed the top of her hips when she moved, but she didn't acknowledge it. She just walked right into the building, expecting him to be waiting for her.
She was on time.
