Re: The Hulk vs Rogue; OTA
When Kitty had left Chicago to be here, Piotr had not been far behind. And though a lot of it did indeed have to do with his worrying about her going into a situation like this, he felt just as responsible about bringing in a fellow mutant and friend. Especially considering how lax he had been about his responsibilities in this regard while he had been undercover, he found himself loathe not to take action.
And so there he found himself, standing on the Brooklyn Bridge, staring up toward a version of Rogue he did not recognize in a mixture of horror and awe. There were many times during his undercover work that he had worried about his alter ego having too much of a lasting effect upon himself, but what he saw before him was like nothing he had ever before imagined.
His ruminations were abruptly halted though, when he moved quickly to catch a flying car, hefting the vehicle over his head, carefully putting down as a bright flash served as quick prelude to the arrival of one particular Avenger he had heard a lot about but hoped not to see here in this situation. Because while his fellow team mates and the other Avengers might try to contain Rogue, he had a sinking feeling about the lengths to which the Hulk could go, which left him looking back and forth between the green behemoth and Rogue as he tried to decide what the best move would be to make.
