After the fall of the Empire the galaxy was at peace. . .

At least at first.

The Jedi slowly started to rebuild it's depleted numbers with the legendary Luke Skywalker heading the movement. The Jedi Praxeum was established on the moon of Yavin VI with only six members to start with. Their numbers grew as more and more force sensitive individuals were discovered throughout the galaxy. Under the supervision of Jedi Master Skywalker the six apprentices grew into responsible and kind Jedis. All save for one, he grew cold and started to lean towards the Dark Side. When Skywalker went to confront his pupil he fled the star system only furthering the accusations. As the five remaining Jedis advanced to being Masters they were each assigned three to four apprentices, it wasn't the tradition but it would have to do for now.

Unfortunately the Yuuzhan Vong were on their way to disrupt the new world order. They were a vicious species which had been planning on a total invasion for years before they arrived. And with them came death, destruction and terror once again in the galaxy. Their intentions were to not only invade the galaxy but overthrow the new Republic and take out the Jedi line. In a way they succeeded in their efforts by destroying the Jedi Praxeum on Yavin IV. Those who survived were taken to the hidden temple on Taivas.

After the Yuuzhan Vong war the Jedi Academy/Praxeum was moved to the planet Ossus, a sacred planet to the Jedi. The Council meanwhile relocated back to the metropolis city-planet Coruscant. During the Aftermath of the war a woman came to power named Natasi Daala as the Chief of State to the Galactic Alliance. Along with her rise to power she brought with her Anti-Jedi sentiments blaming them for not only the Yuuzhan Vong war but deemed the Jedi as worthless, seen as failures on protecting many of the allied worlds. With the galaxy attempting to rebuild once again a new evil was waking on the horizon. While the galaxy was focusing on anti-Jedi sentiments the Sith was beginning to ascend once again under the rule of a mysterious and sinister man named Darth Viis. He possibly has ties with Natasi Daala but it is unclear. It was said that the Jedi trained under Luke Skywalker would be increasingly hard to handle.

Following the anti-Jedi movement Skywalker ordered the Jedi and their apprentices to return to Ossus and destroy any remnants that would single them out as warriors of peace of justice. The Jedi Council is under constant supervision as a warrant has been issued for the arrest of Luke Skywalker. The remaining Jedi and their apprentices are staying on Ossus while Skywalker's whereabouts are unknown to most. Both sides, the Republic and the Sith are searching high and low for him. Bounty Hunters have been sent after the stray Jedi and there's a price on theirs and Skywalker's head.

It's a time of travesty in the galaxy and only the Jedi can stop the rising evil.
