On the island of Genosha, privately funded by the government, they began to develop a prison system to hold and negate the x-gene within the ‘creatures’, and put the ‘Sentinel’ project in motion. Master Mold, the creator of the vibrant robots, began to assemble an army of anti-mutant weaponry, outfitted with the latest abilities of mutant power negation, mind control and offensive weaponry. The first made their appearance on national television in mid-2009.
Now the X-Men and the menancing Brotherhood have settled an uneasy truce between the others to face the common foe. |
