Where the West gets weird! 1880: Welcome to New Haven, Arizona. It's a bustling railroad town, where cattle ranchers, townies, wild savages and people looking to leave their lives behind gather. It's been established for less than a year or so, but already, it's making a name for itself for being 'wild and woolly'. New Haven has a secret of sorts. The founding fathers are all 'gifted' in some way. Either mutants with fantastic powers, or people who have just found themselves possessing special abilities have taken refuge here. Some of them try to carry on normal lives, others like the desolate oasis so they don't have to hide them. One of the city fathers, Charles Xavier, passed away very recently. His students still carry on his legacy and his school for 'gifted' youngsters is located on the outskirts of the town. He was known as a very kindly and peaceful man, teachings he passed onto his students. Another of the city fathers, Erik Lensherr, owns a ranch just a few miles from New Haven. Similar to Xavier, he is known for taking in young stray children and educating them so they can protect themselves and become strong members of society. Still growing, the town is direly in need of law and order. Heather Cameron and some other displaced women act as a kind of law gang. The ranch owners act as a law unto themselves, which leads to near constant brawls and such. All in all, no matter how odd the inhabitants, New Haven suffers the same boons and banes of any other boomtown. 'Cept it goes boom a bit louder. Considering.
