Description: Tourist taking video of the party going on in the Big Easy capture some explosive mutant activity.

The video starts out with the loud music and flashy displays that typically made up the scene in New Orleans during Mardi Gras. The parade with Rex had just finished passing and people’s cheering was almost deafening, almost so deafening that the sound of the blast that shot out from the side of the phone camera's viewpoint was nearly missed.

The beam of plasma force with distinct rings of power hit a tree and the camera shook as the tree exploded into splinters of white energy. Nearby trees caught fire, too, and the camera pivoted amid startled screams mixed with cheers over to a pair of party goers who stood off to the side.

Mardi Gras masks covered their faces, one taller than the other, and a Cajun string of curses was picked up by the mic. One figure in a duster coat grabbed the other, ducking into the crowd and both became lost amid the huge group of people lining the French Quarter.

In the background, almost out of the camera’s view, a shadowy figure on a rooftop above the chaos of the party slips away.

The comments are already showing a stream of eyewitnesses that claimed the energy blast came from one of the two figures. Talks of mutant terrorist groups like The Brotherhood are already being streamed under the links and heating up while some commentators are calling it nothing more than a firework gone astray.
