Thread: The Jig is Up (Clint & Natasha)
Characters: Natasha Romanoff & Clint Barton
NPCs: Bad Guy
Location: Bathroom of a random club
Timeline: Oct. 31, 2014, Evening
Description: Natasha is mid-mission when one of her closest friends sort of figures out she's working for SHIELD.
Rating: R, violence, Clint's language
Natasha was going to meet up with the others as soon as this mission was done. That's what the deal was with SHIELD and that was her plan. It helped that she had to be in costume for this one, and so her Catwoman costume would disguise her well enough among the various other women that were dressed as the same character. Lots of women were happy to get into a pair of thigh high boots and a tight black catsuit (no pun intended) with little ears and a mask. So to them, Natasha was just another face in the crowd. She managed to lure the man into the men's room, which he'd kicked everyone out of. But then things didn't really go according to plan after that. He either knew who she was working for or was really good at telling when he was being set up. So instead of this being an easy mission, she was having to fight the guy who knew how to defend himself. He wasn't really looking to get away right then as much as take her out. Either that was knock her out to take her or kill her, and Natasha wasn't going to let either happen. Her hand chopped into his neck and grunted, seizing her throat and pushing her hard against the tiled wall. Natasha bit by the pain and she brought her leg up to kick him but he knocked it down, squeezing her neck harder and cutting off her air supply. Each attempt she made to throw him off, he knocked away and she was starting to lose oxygen. Her mask was already gone somewhere, lying the floor from where he'd ripped it off and called her a few choice words in Hungarian. Natasha mentally cursed when she saw the bathroom door open, but couldn't see who it was as gray clouded her vision. |
