It was the usual, but not the usual calling of the guards to come and fetch Bobby from his cell and inform him he had a visitor. It was still the cuffs and the walking with an escort, but it wasn't visiting hours, for starters, and they weren't headed to the normal area to meet with whoever was there to see him. Bobby looked over at the guard suspiciously, frowning, "Hey so, I know you're like a samurai and bound by some vow of silence or something, but where are we really going?"
The guard was stone faced and tight lipped, but Bobby persisted, "I mean, I've seen pretty much every episode of Locked Up that was on TV, PLUS I've watched Law and Order like a million times, so I know that whenever something is out of pattern in prison, it means something bad is about to happen."
Still no reaction from the guard but an annoyed sidelong look.
"Okay, so you're telling me something bad is gonna happen. Okay... okay, well, that's not so bad. I accept that. I go in peace and all that." Swallowing a little, because he'd just recently seen Dominik get beaten by the guards for very little reason, so he had a cold chill run down his spine when they started to unlock the door to a side room that was down a hall that Bobby had not previously been allowed down before.
"Crap... crap crap, look, you guys. I'm sorry about the slippery floors in the bathroom. And the mirrors. And the marker. Even though that one guard totally looked better with a mustache and totally resembled Hitler. And I'm sorry about the Kick Me sign I put on that other guard's back and for... well, for everything. Okay? I'm sorry."
He was ushered forward and could feel his feet start to drag, resisting. Whatever was beyond that door, he knew it was not going to be pleasant. He just knew it. "Guys, guys, guys, wait! Wait. Whoa. Let's just talk, okay? You don't want to kill me secretly away from the eyes of the other prisoners, right? I mean... don't you want to make an example of me? For better behavior? I mean, shouldn't we do a whole scene like in-- TONY!?"
Bobby's shock at seeing his friend sitting in the room had the mutant teenager completely shut up and wide eyed, and the guards placed him into the room and removed the cuffs, which had started to pinch his skin again, and, much to Bobby's further shock and confusion, was told by the guard that someone was on their way to remove the collar he wore at the neck.
Dumbfounded, Bobby stared at Tony for answers.
