Backdated: In Azkaban Prison. [Roldophus & the Minister] *complete* Who: Kingsley and Rodolphus Lestrange Where: Azkaban Prison When: Backdated - 29 February 1999, before noon (which is actually not doable since there was no 29th in 1999, but nevertheless...) Rating: G
Kingsley walked up the stairs. The staircase was dark and dusty and cold; not everything had changed inside Azkaban. He reminded himself that he should continue the improvement of the old castle. If people were to live the rest of their miserable lives in here, it had to be at least tolerable. Kingsley wasn't in favour of torture. Having one's freedom taken away (rightfully) wasn't the same as to to allow said life to be made even more miserable. They were human beings after all, the prisoners. Some of them might even be redeemable.
Rodolphus Lestrange might be one of them. Kingsley had known him while they were at Hogwarts, hadn't liked him, but he still saw Lestrange as someone clever enough to understand the changes in society. There was little hope, but still hope.
The prison guard who accompanied Kingsley stopped in front of a heavy door and tapped it three times with his wand. 'Minister,' the guard said, and stepped aside to let Kingsley inside. 'Just tap the door two times when you want to leave,' he added and closed the door behind Kingsley as he stepped inside Rodolphus Lestrange's cell.
