'Ah.' Some of that Severus could handle, some of it he was even willing to admit. 'I see.' He bit his lip, inadvertently, at Remus' words. Remus wanted to be with him? In every way? That was.... but that was... Severus blinked. He hadn't really been thinking in the rush of desire he had been living in since he kissed Remus for the first time. This was what Lupin had said before. He wanted it all, and was willing to pursue it with Severus Snape? If Severus was honest with himself, he couldn't think of anybody who would be more difficult to live with, maybe apart from Bellatrix, who luckily had ceased to breathe after a rather well-placed hex from Molly Weasley.
'I like sitting with you in the evening, reading,' Severus admitted. 'I might have... missed it, while I... was away.' Spoken without the haze of lust to smoothe the words and the truth, it was a large admission. 'I...' Severus changed the line of thought. 'Since school? Are you sure you are normal, Lupin? That your head hasn't been damaged at some point?' It was a bit beyond Severus how Lupin could have been attracted to him for so many years. Conveniently forgetting that his whole life had been moulded around the memory of his only love, Severus stared at Remus with an odd expression. 'And what does the wolf want?' he asked, not really knowing why.
