A follow up from the previous log

Lucius
"You're talking to a talking cat and that's more believable than whatever that was."

Elias
"Sorry, I didn't have a chance to rehearse and I felt siccing a dog on them would make matters worse. I can recover from perceptions of crazy."

Lucius
"I know Hestia doesn't have a good grasp of his magic, but honestly, what are you doing?!"

Elias
"Trying to save the world without sacrificing people I love."
Eli pauses,
"Wait... Hestia?"

Lucius
Stares in judgement.

Elias
"Okay, Mister Kitty. What should I have done? What am I supposed to do?"

Lucius
"Clearly not work in the shadows, as we just saw."

Elias
"Ah..."
Eli slumps forward a little.
"... 'we'... So, should I have started a fire somewhere? Or stayed home or..."

Lucius
"What are you trying to accomplish here? I know why you're doing it, but this is just going to cause us more trouble."

Elias
Eli squats down so he is more on level with the cat, wondering if he can trust this being.
"We wanted to explore the options that had to be out there. Have access to something from the old world so we can make sense of it, to stir memories and whatever else."

Lucius
"We already knew those things were there, but I thought it wasn't worth the trouble."

Elias
"Why isn't it worth the trouble?"

Lucius
"The item we want is never there."

Elias
"Is it supposed to be there?"

Lucius
"It sure is listed on the items there, but it's always on someone's personal custody."

Elias
"Oh... could it be Akane Araki?"

Lucius
"Or someone close to her."

Elias
"This may be an obvious question but I need confirmation -- are you working with the chosen of darkness?"

Lucius
"It's not like I have any better choices but that stubborn oaf."

Elias
Eli laughs a little at that comment.
"He is very stubborn. That much is true. Has he been pushing back against you?"

Lucius
"He never listens."

Elias
"What has been your advice to him?"

Lucius
"That's not your business, nosy one."

Elias
"I love him so his well-being is my business. So, let's go back to the item that is never there. Do you think there is a chance Icchi could have it or Yuuki?"

Lucius
"Yes."

Elias
"Which artifact is it?"
Eli asks this although he supposes he could go down a list to find out what is missing once they get everything they can.

Lucius
"If I tell you, will you not interfere?"

Elias
Eli pauses, fully realizing he doesn't have a great track record with promising to not interfere. Could he just sit back and watch it all go down?
"Why do you feel like you can tell me? If I don't interfere, does that mean he dies?"

Lucius
"I'm just trying to stop you from asking more questions. It doesn't seem to be working. I can see why he says you all are like a big crowd of fifth graders."

Elias
Eli blinks a couple times before rolling his eyes
"God forbid anyone give a shit about him."
He shakes his head.
"So, besides not-interfering, what else do you want from me? Where are we?"

Lucius
The black cat just walks to an edge of the darkness surrounding them, and it dispels to reveal they were now by the beach.

Elias
"I guess, I should say thank you for yoinking me out of there."

Lucius
"Just trying to mitigate your problems. Anyway, I have better things to do."
