[Shakily takes a breath, feeling this conversation is not going the way he wishes it would and not sure how much he trusts Suzaku with his truths. Something needs to be done though and he's not sure how to get it through to him without revealing an amount of himself he's uncomfortable with.]
No, I don't trust all vampires to do the right thing. They are gluttonous and greedy creatures at heart. They will tell you what they know you want to hear while leaving out the sides of it that you need to know. If the information you are being given is incomplete, it is never for your benefit. It's for theirs.
My world is one of the worlds that has that bond. Pureblood vampires had almost wiped out humanity in the past in my world because formerly human vampires can not stand against the one who changed them. Loyal little soldiers that were easily disposable and quickly replaced when their use wore out. A single pureblood sacrificed her life to give a small number of humans the power to fight back against them. Both Kaien Kurosu and I are descendants of those humans.
[Hand slowly reaching up, he can't help but gently rub at the tattoo covering the left side of his neck.]
My world is also the world that all it takes is a certain kind of vampire to drink from you. If you survive, the transformation process will make you wish you hadn't. I know the risks from my world for the various types of vampires. I have a lot of information about Faith's world and recently Saya and Diva's world.
Three months in time is normally just a literal blink in the lifetime of any vampire, those that are virtually live for eternity even moreso. Their patience is rewarded and they often turn things into a literal game without caring who they step on in the process.
I've literally been a chess piece in those games in the past.
