Some expect a "beyond," an afterlife where they are happy and reunited with those that have gone before them. Others believe that a perfect death is to die fulfilling a goal, no matter the manner in which they die.
By believing in an ideal form of death, they imply that death can itself be perfect under certain circumstances. Nothing is perfect.
