I have a friend and he... used to be part of a group of people who hurt others. That group hurt my family in the worst possible way. [ There's a moment while he steadies his tone, and tries to find a good way of being vague without sounding like he's making things up. ] He wasn't directly involved, but finding out he used to subscribe to their beliefs ... that he bought into their bullshit.... well. I wanted to kill him when I found out.
