[She's spent a lot of time at the beach lately. Maybe it's just how quiet it is, but it's become a sort of place of sanctuary. The way the waves gently lap the shore, and the occasional glimpse of a dolphin in the water; it's peaceful. It's something she needs. Her heart heavy, after losing her mother and father once more, it gives her a moment of quiet respite.
Of course she doesn't swim. When she used to be human, playing at the beach was a regular pastime favorite. Now, it isn't that she dislikes it anymore, rather the sensitivity of her skin and eyes protest. The warm light and heat of the sun, even artificial, beats heavily on her skin. So she rarely leaves the manor without some form of protection. Dressed in a light pink summer dress her brother previously procured for her, she approaches the beach quietly, searching out her usual spot. Someone else catches her eyes, though.
Parasol in hand, her head tilts curiously at the boy she spots ahead. At the beach? Brown gaze widening, the expression of surprise isn't disguised. It doesn't seem like the sort of place he might visit, even for a little bit of alone time. Maybe it's just the thought of vampires visiting a place usually frequented by the sun but it seems a little out of place. Just look at yourself.
Inhaling softly, a small smile touches her lips, before she gives a little sigh. It's been a few days; it's only polite to say hello. Approaching him quietly, she lightly crosses the warm sand of the beach, feet barely disturbing the finely dusted pebbles beneath her. Soon it'll be dark, and things will begin to cool down. It will be more comfortable, then.]
Kamui-san. [Behind him she gently says his name so as not to startle him. It's only then though, that she realizes.]
Oh...
[The scents don't match up. The blood of the boy before her flowing within his veins is very much human.]
