He hadn't expected to run into his other self here in the gardens, and had been so focused on the assorted greenery he hadn't even noticed said other self until he heard him utter a very familiar name. If Kamui had realized who it was, he would have stayed hidden, but the voice is quiet enough that recognition is not immediate.]
[So he ends up stepping into view, noisily (or at least, relatively noisy for the situation) brushing aside a low-hanging branch and only realizing his potential mistake once it's too late.]
