Before Kaien's arrival!
[Shifting comfortably within her position in bed, Yuuki snuggled in further with a soft, contented sigh, subconsciously loath to move. Every limb on her body felt heavy, laden down with the invisible sands of sleep. It was deep, and peaceful, compared to the last week or so she had experienced in the dome. Like a moth drawn to a flame, she soaked up the warmth beneath her. It penetrated her body like a drug, continuing to lull her back into sleep
His movements slightly stirred her, though. Brow furrowing her fingers tightened against him, eyes fitfully fluttering but never actually peaking out beneath the long velvet of her lashes. A wide yawn forced her mouth open, sharp fangs flashing much like that of a tired lioness. Such a potentially dangerous creature, and one of the most widely feared species, she looked anything but threatening while she slept. Vulnerable, having fallen asleep in the bed of a hunter; it was the last thing any of her own kind would have considered an intelligent move. Emotionally spent it was in the hunter that she had found the most comfort though.
With a luxurious stretch, her mouth finally snapped shut, tiny beads of sleep clinging to the corner of her lashes wetly.]
Mmm.
[In a natural move, she nuzzled against him before inhaling deeply against the throat that softly pulsed beneath her, the sound of a heartbeat internally soothing her and beating rhythmically in her ears. Her own heart matched the steady 'thump thump' that worked better than a lullaby.
A nostalgic scent, and a familiar presence that calmed her; she wouldn't easily stir awake from something she'd she'd missed and longed for once again after so long.]
