[It would be convenient to have his full abilities back, so Tieria just nods for now. However, the idea of Ribbons and Hiling potentially being able to use their Install protocol, especially with Anew around, doesn't sit well with him. Though, did Hiling even have that level of access? Tieria had only seen a few uses of it in VEDA's records... from Ribbons and from another of their type, but whom he'd never seen.
Still, in a case like this, it would be a useful ability to have if it even worked without VEDA.
Pancakes...? Tieria had sort of been hoping this would just be a business meeting and he'd be on his way. Plus, he hadn't had much of an appetite as of late.] Thank you. [No point in not being polite, at least... especially around someone clearly used to working within the confines of social graces.
He nods then as Ribbons agrees to approach GIR about his contact with Acumen. Tieria wanted to know if they could get enough information to compare Acumen and what he knew of Sentience from Lain.]
I don't believe anything else has direct access. The kiosk near the shelter is heavily locked down to prevent more than just basic voice access. I doubt the computers in the lab are connected in the way the bots are. Miss Lain didn't mention attempting access through there. I doubt she would have gotten far. Aside from monitoring traffic and activity, I do not believe the connections to Acumen are anything other than one way observation.
[And that was the ability Tieria had been thinking about. Anew's arrival and the fact that Haro had reacted to the QBW sweep after the last fog incident had set off a few mental alarm bells as far as what Ribbons might attempt. The Install protocol was something Tieria was only familiar with on a cursory level, however. He couldn't imagine that Acumen wouldn't have restricted it in some way, though.]
In order to do anything, we'll most likely need to procure one of the bots.
