[Nodding even before Gino has finished his sentence.] That is exactly why I went to Suzaku first -- I didn't want news to come that I was prying into their affairs without first attempting to resolve the matter. I am relieved to hear that you've noticed nothing amiss with Lelouch; neither had I, which is why the information came as such a shock to me.
However... I can understand Sir Guilford's position as well. He wants his Geass broken. That is why he asked me about Miss Inoue and her abilities, and of course then I was curious why he'd wanted to know... [and here he was.]
[Still, he can't quite believe that all is well, just yet.]
Suzaku said that the Geass on Lady Euphemia was an accident, and so what if control over the power is lost again? Or a moment's anger, or fear of a threat, spurs the use of it? And, to be entirely honest, I am not certain how much someone with such powers can be trusted even if he is in complete control of them. I have seen powerful people, strong people, fall victim to their own selfish desires, and their powers could not cause nearly what this one could.
[a heavy sigh] I have no solution to offer, nor any idea what would be best. I am an outsider who has stumbled into a very delicate situation, and I seem unable to find my way out again without upsetting the proverbial apple cart.
