When I first arrived, Lady Euphemia had that curse on her -- that demanded that she kill Japanese. [assumes Gino knows the one all too well.] I didn't have details at the time of what it was or who put it on her, but when Yuuri accidentally triggered the curse and Lady Euphemia had to be sedated, he tried to find a way to help. To sum up a long story, our Great Sage worked out that Orihime Inoue, with her capabilities, would be able to break the curse. And it worked.
[A dry smile] I don't doubt that our Sage knew exactly who put the curse on Lady Euphemia, but I didn't consider it myself until yesterday. After all, no one seemed more protective of Euphemia than Lelouch. But then I met Sir Guilford, and I mentioned that I knew Lady Euphemia from when she'd had her curse broken. He was most interested in the process, and so I explained it. That was when he told me about the Emperor's Geass ability, and that he too was afflicted.
I hope you can understand my concern, given the extraordinary power of such an ability. But I have an understanding with Suzaku, or sorts, and so I wanted to speak with him, see his response. I suspect you would be able to predict what Suzaku told me, and as things stand I am uncertain what to believe.
And so, here I am. [That was all oversimplified, but for the purposes of beginning, it would do.]
