But when she closes her eyes and thinks about her brother, Lelouch, she doesn't see those things. She doesn't even think of scene on the video where he lifts a gun to end her life.
She sees the little boy who was always offering her a coat, because he was afraid she'd get cold. Or attending her tea parties. Or any of the other small ways he showed he cared.
It was selfish to hold these memories up above the others, but then maybe she was just a selfish girl who needed to believe in someone she loved very much.]
This isn't a bad place. Things aren't perfect here, but we aren't at war. We can have peace here no matter what happened or will happen or might happen at home.
