but he looks across the room, at Lelouch in the bed and C.C. curled up with him, and knows he can't sleep. not right now. forces himself upright, moves over to the bedroom's small window, and settles against the windowsill, and opens a channel on his communicator. ...nothing against Soubi, but he is suddenly filled with the urge to just... make sure his story checks out. make sure Euphie really is okay, that it isn't all... just...
