[Luckily for him, he didn't hear that word, and grabbed onto a fish that was swimming in front of him as Yuuki dragged him onto the shore. When he was out of the water, he watched the fish struggle for life in his hands, and he began to feel bad.
He didn't really need to eat the fish, did he? Not like back then, when they were starving and had no choice... The fish were sort of like the Amanto- Different, not human, but more helpless than either humans or the Amanto by far. What had it done for him to end its life? It was just a fish, after all. As it beat its tail madly against his hands, he only felt more sorry for it- He had to struggle to survive amidst weaponry far more advanced than his own, after all. But this fish was harmless- It wouldn't hurt anybody. It hadn't killed anyone.
He loosened his grip and let the fish fall back into the water.]
