B-but....I missed you so much <333
[He nods slowly as he listens to her, trying to piece together the few information he has on her world. Clovis...he was the 'artistic brother', Oliver reminds himself. It's not the first time he hears about her world being at war, but now he knows she used to be on the winning side.
While it's hard to imagine someone like Euphie coming from a world at war, he has no trouble seeing Cornelia at the head of an army on a battlefield. Not just because of her skills, but also for the commanding air she sometimes has, something that doesn't come close to any 'spoiled brat' attitude he's seen in other women before. Even if sometimes she is difficult with him.
Oliver watches Cornelia attentively. He can see the conflicting emotions in her eyes, but it's hard to define what they can be. But from the lack of a bragging tone in her voice, he can tell she might not see it as much as an accomplishment as some might have.
He looks down at his glass as she comments about his life in his world and his smile turns a bit amused before he drinks the rest of his wine.]
I suppose it all depends on how you define power.
[Yes, most people have their price and Oliver always has the resources to meet it. He could charm himself out of troubles or wrestles his way into a good business deal. But that seems nothing compared to what his friends could do. Being strong and indestructible like Clark, being incredibly fast like Bart or being able to breathe under water like A.C., there was true power.
After putting down his own glass by the edge of the waters, he leans forwards as well, reaching for her glass. Their fingers touch as he takes the stem of the glass from her hand. He looks up, meeting her gaze back fully.]
