[Cornelia and Oliver -- Beach]
[As they approach the sand, Cornelia bends forward to remove her heels. She has trouble enough walking with them on concrete, and would prefer not to fall flat on her face. She does feel a little more at ease because of the whiskey. One glass normally allows her to clear her head and a second might reduce some of the animosity. Even if she hadn't approved of the means, Oliver went through great lengths to win this date at the auction, so the least she can do is relax a little.
Holding the shoes in one hand, she rubs her arm when the wind hits them, her gaze on the water as she wonders how it's possible to create something like this when they are hidden away somewhere beneath the ocean. She tries to keep her attention away from her sister. Cornelia knows that if she is with Lockon, there is nothing to worry about. But she's more concerned for her sister's frame of mind than she is for the fact that she's on a date.]
