[The light was glaring, far to bright for what his eyes were used to, but he kept his head down and his senses on the alert. His pace was steady as he walked, more a leisurely stroll but with enough purpose to deter the more hesitant of his fellow inmates.
So much to process, so much left to learn. The restraints had been humbling, frightening. How long had the power to suppress a Contract existed? A tendril of rage burned within, barely suppressed by the passage of time.
Amber was here and her words were as nonsensical, unreasonable, illogical as ever. But the rage was banked, smoldering deep within as his mask settled, never shifting in the harsh light of the dome. He had time to think (to much) over her words. There had been time to tease them apart, puzzle over them. Hei was not inclined to see her again. Not now. Not yet.
Hei looks up, his feet carrying him around the far perimeter of the dome, counting steps, looking for the telltale signs of the living in each house, each complex as he spiraled closer to the heart of the dome, the shelter. He would avoid the heavily inhabited places. He wanted relative anonymity, a place to sleep when darkness fell. He would choose several--harder to track him.
He had time, and a prison full of overly friendly inmates to listen to. There were few people to run into on the streets, occupied as they were with festival preparations.
Hei smiles.]
{{OOC: Hei will be avoiding the park due to people's predilection towards gravitating there, but any other sector is fair game.}}
