Awakening [action, open]
"Sentience...?" Tieria blinked. Momentarily panicked by the sudden physical sensations his brain was processing, he sat up quickly, grabbing at the headset over his ear. It clattered to the floor as his body protested the sudden movement. He cried out briefly, breathing hard to recover from the shot of pain as his newly reawakened nervous system reminded him that he'd been nothing more than a consciousness inside a computer for several months now. Speaking of... "Veda." His eyes widened for a moment before he immediately attempted to use his quantum brainwaves to reach the supercomputer that Aeolia Schoenberg had left behind for Celestial Being. He cringed, gripping the side of his head. Being out of practice had left him weakened, but that didn't mean he couldn't reach it, right? Yet, he couldn't. There was no answer.
The headset...
Carefully, he moved to retrieve it, reading the message once again. None of this sounded familiar, not even the name of the ocean, and Tieria knew every location on the earth's surface, even if he didn't like being there. "I can't stay here," he said. "I've committed..." He wanted to say he hadn't committed any crimes, but he supposed, in someone's mind, what he had done was a crime. He knew the new Earth Sphere government still considered Celestial Being criminals, and had every intention of prosecuting them should they be captured. The last line of the message glared at him from the small screen. "No," he said firmly. "I have to leave!" The Plan... if they'd lost Veda again, they wouldn't be able to carry out the next stage of the Plan!
This realization hit Tieria hard. Everything that they'd worked for... that he'd died for... would have been for nothing if they couldn't complete their mission. His grip on the headset loosened, the small device falling once more to the floor as he sat down heavily on the bed he'd been laying on. "I can't help them if I'm not in Veda," he whispered. "I can't do anything from here." He clenched his fists, closing his eyes tightly for a moment. 'Think,' he urged himself silently. 'There has to be a way out...' He forced himself to calm down, since thinking when panicked wasn't a good way to handle a crisis. Slowing his breathing, he kept his eyes closed as he relaxed his body. 'Lockon... guide me...'
"Timeline..." he said. He opened his eyes. Removal from the timeline...? What did that mean? "That's not possible. No one has technology like that-" Well, no one that he knew of. But, if the whole purpose of the Plan was to ready them for contact from outside the known world, then he had to be open to the possibility of technology he'd never seen. He grabbed the headset once more. It was time to do some research.
Carefully, he made his way towards the door, being cautious for now. The headset in one hand, and the heavy ball attached to his ankle by a chain (talk about barbaric) in the other, he looked out into the hallway.
