[Helix couldn't help the way those emotions bubbled up from his chest at those words. His brow furrowed softly as he was wracked with an almost painful adoration, pouting some and feeling completely silly about all of this. He knew Aidan loved him, he knew he was true, and to feel like this towards his friends was just... stupid. He knew that. But he couldn't deny the way he felt.
He nodded, leaning in once more to bury his face into the crook of Aidan's neck.]
I love you so much. [He murmured against his throat. Helix remained that way, pressed to his lovers chest and clinging to him tightly. The idea of the license popped into his head a few times, but he wasn't sure if now was a good time or if they were even ready for that sort of thing.
Then again... no time like the present. He wouldn't know how Aidan felt without talking about it at least. He wasn't even sure if the thought ever crossed his boyfriends mind.
He took a step back, eyes cast down sheepishly as he put a little distance between them. He kept his fingers loosely wrapped around his hand though, thumb brushing idly over the skin.]
Aidan...? [ A slight pause to find the stones to ask, then lifting his eyes to his lover.]
What uhm... what do you think about getting a license?
