[Yuuri sits down beside him, but he perches on the edge of the couch cushions, keeping his body turned toward the other boy as much as possible.]
I'm not really sure how it all works either. [A sheepish smile.]
But it doesn't hurt at all. [He's actually never had healing done to him, but no one ever looked like they were in pain. Not because of the healing anyway. It also seems like he'd feel that if they were.]
I just, um, reach out like this. [He puts his hand out over Aidan's shoulder. His palm brushes the cloth of the other boy's clothes, but there is no pressing. He doesn't need contact exactly. He may not even need this, but it's how Gisela did things. It's how he helped Conrad when he'd been shot by all those arrows. It feels natural. As natural as being able to use magic can when you grew up thinking you were just an average kid at least.]
And I think about making you feel better.
[He closes his eyes and for a moment nothing happens, but then Yuuri's hand begins to glow. The aura is faintly green and it grows brighter, engulfing more of his arm and Aidan's shoulder. The magic itself is not restricted there. Aidan may feel something warm pass through his body. Injuries may tingle slightly as the magic repairs the damaged areas, knitting flesh back together and relieving bruises and aching muscles. The magic knows what it's doing more than Yuuri is really directing it, and with damage this light there's no reason he can't reverse it all though some of the deeper areas may still look a little pink or former bruises might still be faintly tender.
Yuuri says nothing as he's healing, but when the last cut is gone, the glow retracts and disappears completely, and he feels himself slump heavily against the back couch cushions in a somewhat awkward pose. His eyes are only half closed now and he looks tired.]
