[There's not much preparing to do, and although he feels like he should wash the blood out of his hair that'll just end up with him a lot wetter and then he either has to wait even longer just to get his hair dry or drag water through the apartment.
So the blood can wait. It's not like it's very noticeable anyway, with his haircolor.
He does take a moment to wash his face, carefully half-dabbing half-tossing a handful of water on himself before gently rubbing it out of his eyes with his fingertips. With that out of the way he's pretty much as ready as he can be, and so he continues with the tedious task of getting himself out of the tub. Totally not as easy as getting in. No way.
He manages though, again with a great deal of help from Helix, and then he's on the floor, shivering slightly but feeling a lot better than the last time he was standing up. There's still a bit of dizziness to work out and he's pretty sure the pain from smacking his head against the wall is working its way to a proper headache. None of that matters though, he doesn't care that he's still in pain and despite the sting in his palms he steps in to cup Helix's cheek, catching his mouth in a kiss.]
