Sogyo was a great warrior, and an inhabitant of a place called Seireitei. Seireitei was a beautiful place, home to noblemen and women and to those who guarded and served their families. He could easily have remained within the walls of Seireitei and lived a comfortable life amongst the privileged of Soul Society ... but it was not enough. Sogyo had a kind heart, and he saw, outside the walls of Seireitei, the poor districts and the dangers there. The people of these districts had no private guard or stone walls to protect them.
