[ recently--before coming to Marina, that is--he'd been considering voluntarily sharing a little more with Ritsuka, about Ritsu in particular. he and Ritsuka had grown...close. closer than Soubi had ever dared to think they would. there are certain things that he knows he will never talk about; can never talk about. but there are other things he'd finally decided he could possibly voice.
but not now. not when Ritsuka seems so surprised about the mere mention of Gora. that's enough to confirm his suspicions. it's jarring to know that Ritsuka isn't aware of so much. so many important things had occurred since then. he doesn't know what to say anymore. he tries to be dismissive, though he's still shaken, both from this realization and from his lingering stress in relation to teaching class. ]
