Well... I was making a potion to try and temporarily restore people to their full powers, those of them who have some sort of ability. And I was trying to schedule a test with my Exorcists to see if there were any side effects or anything, and then my plan was to tell Suzaku about it and offer the Force it's use.
But when General Cross got -- hurt, I felt I had to use everything I had to keep everyone safe. I let the Exorcists use the only three potions I had in order to fight the Noah.
And then after Suzaku came to ask me about what happened. I told him about the potion because I didn't want to hide it and I'd always intended to tell him, but he said he wanted to move my lab into HQ or have people guarding it. Well I --
[he sighs, not sure if Rebecca will agree or disagree with him on this point.] The Order is a really secretive organization, for a reason. If ANY of our information got out it could cause immense casualties. Once, back home, they coerced one of our own into betraying the locations of Exorcists in the field and... [He still looks sad, remembering that.] We lost so many.
And I like Kitty, I really do, but she's -- she's sleeping with Tyki Mikk. And who knows how many other DF members are similarly on good terms with the Noah? They pretend to be like the rest of us so easily. So I don't trust people in my lab because it's not safe for anyone. And when I told Suzaku that, he thought I didn't trust the DF, that I was trying to hide my potion the whole time and only use it for the Order.
It got pretty tense for a minute. We smoothed things over temporarily, but I don't really know what to do with this. Letting him and the rest of the DF into the Order's business any more than we already have could be so, so dangerous.
