[ a deep breath. we will -- try to organize our thoughts, now. ]
...Mr. Lee.
Am I to understand that the Defense Force has your trust only so far as you have been able to use it to secure weapons for your people? Did you really imagine that this would -- or could -- ever be an acceptable arrangement?
[ these words are... coming slowly, disbelief as much as anything else, but he feels deeply, deeply betrayed. ]
Over the last few months, we have... we have provided you with weapons, with access to the security system -- we have trusted you and we... no, I have placed the lives of your fellow inmates in your hands.
In return, you have given the Defense Force nothing. Am I really meant to believe that you would have ever told any of us about your research, at this juncture? Keeping it to yourselves, for your own private usage, in your own private war, seems far more in keeping with your behavior up until this point.
Mr. Lee, you and your people are not alone in this dome, and it is high time you came to realize that.
[ he is going to stand up now. he is not precisely cutting you off, but nothing you have said until this point has done anything but make the matter worse, so why should he believe anything is going to change now :( ]
