I don't think it's that people didn't do the things that system has said we've done.
[She makes a face] Even I'm technically guilty of the actions that weird computer accused me of. But there's a big difference between being a criminal, and taking into account circumstances or reality.
[She'll take one of her crimes as an example]
For instance, Acumen said one of the reasons I'm here is for destruction of property. I didn't want or mean for anything to get ruined, though. I'm sure others have gotten similar verdicts. It's not really fair to imprison someone for an accident. Especially one that was repaired!
[She glances away, looking back out at the scenery.]
Just because they say we're criminals, it doesn't mean we are. In the end, what gives them the right to judge? They haven't proven morally better than the rest of us. Even this Sentience computer saw that. I think by their standards, the entire universe would be locked away if they could manage it.
