[PART 2: BREAK-IN]
[After some time, Sentience opens its eyes.]
It's time now. If you're absolutely sure you want to be part of this -- follow me.
You won't be able to turn back if you do.
[Then it turns and leads everyone deeper into Sector 3, where some observant characters may have already noticed an unremarkable building, one of many that serves little purpose right now. The door does not open in any normal way, but Acumen's robots are occasionally seen going in or out of it. Sentience pauses and its round, open eyes flash in a fast, distinct pattern at the door -- which beeps quietly and slides open.]
Hurry through! Before the door closes again!
[On the other side is a large warehouse, mostly empty except for Acumen's robots -- around three dozen of them lining the walls in various states of disrepair or hooked up to what appear to be charging stations. This is where Acumen's robots go to recharge. They start waking up almost immediately as inmates pour into the room, a few of them getting agitated and detaching themselves from the walls. But Sentience hastens to the nearest empty charge station and slams a disc down onto the outlet. In an instant the building's occupants go still and then abruptly power down.]
[Five seconds pass before they power up again, they serenely gather around Sentience, not in the least alarmed.]
[Sentience looks back at its 'bodyguards'.] These ones are on our side, now. I'll explain momentarily, but we have to get into the elevator first.
[There's a large cargo elevator in the back of the room, big enough to fit everyone in comfortable. Sentience pushes a few buttons and then the doors seal shut, and we're on an elevator -- going down, down, down underneath the ground floor of the dome.]
