[Ritsuka appears on the video feed first thing in the morning, flour smudged on his forehead, sleeves, and one ear, but his expression cheerful. Despite the trying experience he had the day before, he's decided to put his early rising to good use and hopefully smooth things over at the same time.]

Soubi. If you're awake, come down to the shelter kitchen. I made breakfast.

[He can't decide if it's because he's actually happy to have Soubi there, or if he feels badly for how curt he was after their kiss, or if he just wants to do something nice, but... whatever. Breakfast is made, and that's all that matters.]

I made a lot of pancake batter, so Roxas or Sasha or anyone who wants to can come have some too. I'll try to flip them smoothly.

[ooc: that's right - everyone is not-so-cordially invited to a pancake breakfast in the shelter! Ritsuka and Soubi will be there for sure, so feel free to address threads to either one or both of them! threadhopping is also welcome, so feel free to tag characters besides Soubi/Ritsuka as well.]

[ Soubi is awake, actually. He keeps a pretty erratic sleep schedule, so he's actually been up for some time. It surprises him to see Ritsuka so suddenly on the communicator, addressing him directly, but it's certainly not unwelcome--especially since he looks to be in high spirits, despite yesterday's events.

Oh, and the flour smudges are pretty cute, too.

He heads for the kitchen immediately. It's not a room he's very familiar with yet, but he finds it easily, having visited a few times already for meals. The scent of pancakes is unmistakable. ]

Good morning, Ritsuka. [ He can't help but smile. ] You've been busy. Would you like some help? [ Soubi's already rolling up his sleeves even as he asks. ]

	[ Ah. So it's like that again, is it? In that case, Soubi allows his sleeves to drop back into place. He remembers how this works. [Ritsuka is quiet for a beat. It would be better to tell him.] They're for you, you know.

[It's good to get this part out of the way, the awkward, heart-pounding, not quite sure if he's doing this right part. It's stupidly hard to say, "I'm sorry," because Ritsuka isn't even quite sure what exactly he's sorry for. But he wants Soubi to at least know that this is something he's doing especially for him; maybe that will be enough.]

[ It's more than enough. Soubi never expects others to do anything for him--least of all someone he regards as being his 'master.' But Ritsuka, as always, is different. So very different. ]

[ Those words are spoken slowly, softly. He hopes they convey just how grateful he is, even for a relatively small gesture like this one. He may be a skilled user of Wordspell, but it's often hard for him to know how his words in everyday life will effect others. He doesn't have much experience with people, and most often comes off standoffish at best, and conceited at worst. Granted, that's an image he tends to reinforce, but not so when around Ritsuka. He feels...freer, around Ritsuka. If he thinks about it too much, it's almost frightening.

But that's why Ritsuka is and will always be forgiven--even if Soubi doesn't think there's anything to forgive in the first place. It is impossible for Ritsuka to do any wrong by him, as whatever Ritsuka wants is always the right choice. ]

[He turns to the stove, where the flat pan sits warm and ready for the first pancakes. There are supposed to be art classes at the school, but there is currently no one to teach them. If you approved, Ritsuka, I thought I might do so until someone more suitable is found.

[ As much as he dislikes schools and teachers and everything associated with them, Soubi does love art. And he's been informed that there are potential students who do, as well. He doesn't think he'll be much good at teaching--doesn't want to be good at it, really--but he does think that having the class there and available to others who need art as an outlet as he does is...important. ]

Of course, you are my priority, Ritsuka, so my responsibilities are to you first.

If you want to teach them then go ahead. You don't need my permission to do it. [He frowns slightly, not liking the idea that Soubi can't do something he wants to without asking him first.] You're an art student, right? So it'll be fun if you can keep doing art.

[He flips the pancake over again to check for the proper browning, then, satisfied, lays it out on the plate he readied next to the stove.] Besides, I'll be going to the school sometimes too.
